Brent "Hoops" Fuqua

Reverend Brent W. Fuqua is a Professional Ball-handler who grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He earned two Bachelor of Arts Degrees from Catawba College and a Master of Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is also an ordained pastor. He has taught physical education and coached high school basketball and tennis. Brent worked with Athletes in Action for two and a half years and played in over 150 exhibition games with them. He is the Founder and Director of Hoops of Hope Basketball Ministry. He has done basketball clinics, ball-handling shows and exhibition games all over the United States and in 13 foreign countries. Brent does 50-75 ball-handling shows and 6-7 weeks of basketball camp a year. He also helps oversee two prison ministry teams that play basketball games against inmates and minister to them. He is married to Dina Fuqua.
